The four-day training of trainers (TOT) program for farmer leaders from Mandandeupur-10, Kavrepalanchok inaugurated today under the chairmanship of Mr. Ekraj Upreti, Vice Chairperson of Farmers for Rural Development (FRDEV) with the presence of Ms. Purnima Chhetri, Head of Industrial Entomology Development Farm, Chitwan.

At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Upreti highlighted the importance of sustainable farming in Nepal , while Ms. Chettri shed light on the principles and types of sustainable farming.

The training is being conducted at the Nepal Agricultural Cooperative Central Federation Ltd. Training and Research Centre, Tarauli Chitwan from January 22, 2025 to January 25, 2025.

Altogether 28 participants at the training, with 14 female and 14 male, have attended this TOT. This training program is supported technically and financially by MDM and TGH.

मण्डनदेउपुर - १०, काभ्रेपलाञ्चोकका कृषक अगुवाहरूका लागि आयोजना गरिएको चार दिने प्रशिक्षक प्रशिक्षण (TOT) कार्यक्रम आज श्री एकराज उप्रेती, ग्रामिण विकासका लागि किसान संस्थाका उपाध्यक्षको अध्यक्षतामा उद्घाटन गरियो।

कार्यक्रममा व्यवसायिक कीट विकास फार्म , चितवनकी प्रमुख पूर्णिमा क्षेत्री ज्यूको विशेष उपस्थिति रहेको थियो।

उद्घाटन समारोहमा उपाध्यक्ष एकराज उप्रेतीले नेपालमा दिगो कृषि प्रणालीको महत्त्वलाई जोड दिनुभएको थियो भने पूर्णिमा क्षेत्री ज्यूले दिगो कृषि प्रणालीका सिद्धान्त र प्रकारहरूको बारेमा प्रकाश पार्नुभयो।

यो तालिम नेपाल कृषि सहकारी केन्द्रीय संघ लि. तालिम तथा अनुसन्धान केन्द्र, टरौलीमा २०८१ माघ ८ गतेदेखि २०८१ माघ ११ गतेसम्म (जनवरी २२, २०२५ देखि जनवरी २५, २०२५ सम्म) सञ्चालन भइरहेको छ।

तालिममा २८ जना सहभागी रहेका छन्, जसमा १४ महिला र १४ पुरुष सहभागी छन्।
